Spring 2026 - Adult Classes - 100% Online

Learn French online as an adult? Mais oui !

If you have never attended classes at AFW, you need to contact us before signing up for a class, so we can assess your level and find the ideal class for you. Unless you're a complete beginner, you also need to take our placement test. For all new AFW students, including complete beginners, an informal interview will be arranged before the first day of class in order for our team to gain a better understanding of learning goals which are most important to you.

When are online French lessons taking place?

Adults are grouped depending on their level, but also depending on their personal learning goals. Groups need a minimum of 4 students for the schedule to be confirmed.

Groups currently offer:

• Mondays - 2:30pm to 4:30pm - Higher Intermediate (B2+) 
• Mondays - 7pm to 9pm - False Beginners (A1.3) open, starting on April 7th
• Tuesdays - 9am to 11am - Lower Intermediate (B1)
• Tuesdays - 6pm to 8pm - Advanced beginner (A2.1)  
• Tuesdays - 6pm to 8pm - Higher Intermediate (B2)
• Tuesdays - 6pm to 8pm - Lower Intermediate (B1.1)
• Tuesdays - 6pm to 8pm - Beginner (A1.2)  open, starting on April 8th
• Wednesdays - 9am to 11am - Lower Intermediate (B1.4) open, starting on April 8th
• Wednesdays - 12pm to 2pm - Lower Intermediate (B1.3) open, starting on April 8th
• Wednesdays - 5pm to 7pm - Lower Intermediate (B1+)
• Wednesdays - 6.30pm to 8pm - Advanced Level (B2+/C1)  (12 lessons of 1h30mn instead of 10 lessons of 2h) open, starting on April 8th
• Thursdays - 11am to 1pm - Higher Intermediate (B2.2) open, starting on April 9th
• Thursdays - 9.30am to 11.30am - Higher Intermediate (B2+) open, starting on April 9th
• Thursdays - 6pm to 8pm - Beginner (A1.1) 

Our school year is organized following 3 terms of 10 lessons each, starting in September, January and April.
Our Spring term will start April 6, 2026.

All groups listed on this page are for lessons taking place 100% online.

This rate is valid for 10 lessons of 2 hours each, except for the advanced level class on Wednesday evenings (12 lessons of 90 minutes).

This package does not include AFW membership fees, nor does it include the price of textbooks and exercise books, or the one year access to our virtual classrooms for adults, necessary for all students. Depending on your level, the price of textbooks and/or exercise books used in your class may vary. A valid AFW membership is required for all AFW students.
